In the air, on land and sea

Zoe is getting to be all kinds of mobile these days. She has stood numerous times without support now (albeit for only a second or two). She’s starting to walk while holding our hands and is generally getting quite confident on her feet.

She also is loving being flipped onto the bed. To the point that after doing it a few times, we can hardly pick her up because she keep trying to fling herself backwards. This unfortunately led to a decent bumping of the head the other day, but moment later she was right back at it!

And last week she started swimming lessons! She seems to enjoy it for the most part, but still not all that sure what is going on. As some of you know, I’ve had my own issues with learning to be comfortable in the water, so it was neat to be there with her. (Here you can read a more reflective blog on this idea).

Along with all this, it seems like she may be FINALLY getting some teeth! Although we’ve thought that before. But now there are two little lumps on her upper gums. We’ll see what happens over the next few weeks.

Man, she’s almost a year old!
